Putin’s visit of LUKOIL- Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez LLC refinery (city of Kstovo)

On September 13, 2010 Prime Minister Vladimir Putin took part in an event dedicated to completion of installation and construction works in the plant of Catalytic cracking complex belonging to LUKOIL- Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez LLC (Kstovo). The General contractor is OJSC Globalstroy-Engineering.

Construction works were carried out on Catalytic cracking complex of vacuum gasoil facilities which include a combined catalytic cracking unit with capacity of 2 million tons per year; a unit of hydrotreatment of vacuum gasoil and hydrogen production; a combined unit of hydrogen fluoride alkylation; a complex for collection, storage and loading of liquefied hydrogen gas; off-plot facilities. These facilities have been already on individual trial and are going to be prepared for the comprehensive testing. The amount of workers exceeded 3000 persons during the peak of construction.

The Catalytic cracking complex of LUKOIL-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez is a unique high-level processing oil refinery which enables producing additionally 1,4 million tons of EURO-4 and EURO-5 automobile gasoline, over 400 000 tons of diesel fuel and 150 000 tons of propylene annually.
